If your school already has a group of active students, use Import Students to migrate Student and Course data in bulk instead of creating every Student manually.
Create the Courses first
Before downloading the import template, create all Courses required by the students being imported in the current campus.
If a Course referenced by the import file does not exist in the current campus, Artstep cannot associate the Student correctly and the import may fail.
Choose the correct template
The current system provides separate templates for:
- students in Courses billed By Hour;
- students in Courses billed By Term.
Do not mix the templates.
By Hour and By Term store different information. By Term records the Course validity period rather than Student Credit Hours.
