After Scheduling is created, use Schedule / Timetable and the Dashboard to review the generated Sessions.

View the Schedule

The current Web supports schedule views including:

  • By Class;
  • By Teacher;
  • By Classroom;
  • By Time.

You can move between weeks and review the current, previous or next week.

Sessions may appear with states such as:

  • Upcoming;
  • Pending Attendance;
  • Attendance Taken;
  • Cancelled.

Open a Session

A Session can show information such as:

  • Course;
  • Class;
  • Teacher;
  • Classroom;
  • Class Time;
  • Teaching Mode;
  • Progress.

Depending on the Session state and your permissions, actions can include:

  • Take Attendance;
  • Modify Attendance;
  • Cancel class;
  • Edit single class.

Edit a single Session

Use Edit single class when only one Session needs to change.

Before saving, confirm that the change does not create a new Teacher, Classroom or time conflict.

If the recurrence rule for the entire Class needs to change, edit the Class Scheduling rule instead of changing every Session individually.

Cancel a class

Click Cancel class.

The current system includes cancellation reasons such as:

  • Teacher Leave;
  • Holiday;
  • Extracurricular Activities;
  • Other.

Select the reason and save. The Session then enters a cancelled state.

Cancelling a Session and deleting a Session are different operations.

Delete a Session

Where Delete is available, the current system warns that:

the Session will no longer appear in the Attendance list or Schedule after deletion.

Use Delete only when the Session record itself should be removed. Do not use it as a substitute for Cancel class.

Attendance changes are not Schedule edits

If Attendance has already been recorded and the Student's attendance status needs to change, use Modify Attendance rather than editing the Schedule.

Attendance changes can also affect Credit Hours and Tuition, so review the dedicated Attendance article.
