The same principle applies to the operation of training institutions. If the institution does not do a good job in basic skills, it is easy to stagnate in the process of development.

To do a good job in basic skills, the campus can start from two aspects: teaching+service

In terms of teaching:

There is a set of exclusive institutions and complete core courses:

This course must be the most direct reflection of the school's major, creative, and effective in teaching. It is best to showcase the teaching effectiveness to parents after one class.

This type of course needs to have content (what to teach), depth of content (difficult points in the course), easy for children to grasp (easy to achieve teaching results), and high innovation (the course content also needs to be updated over time).

We can ensure that new teachers can quickly get started with teaching and have a standardized and efficient teaching process.

The key and difficult points of the course should be reflected:

Ensure that children have a clear understanding of what they have learned in every class, preferably allowing them to convey it clearly to their parents.

Showcasing classroom effectiveness:

Tell parents about their child's professional mastery, skill mastery, and performance in class, so that parents can see the changes in their child's work after each class, and demonstrate their child's progress through these changes.

These can be displayed through post class reviews, growth records, and assessment reports.

In terms of service:

Service visualization:

Let parents see what the school district has done for their children, such as class reminders, attendance reminders, after-school feedback, growth records, assessment files, and point distribution

Establish and improve student learning profiles:

Understand each child's learning situation and skill mastery, establish relevant labels for the child, and provide targeted scientific learning advice based on the labels.

Deep communication:

At the same time, I am able to have in-depth communication with some parents every week to understand their children's growth situation, and work together with parents to help children form good study habits and attitudes, ensuring their learning effectiveness.

Communication skills are also a display of a teacher's strength and one of their valuable soft skills.

To enhance soft power, teachers can do the following:

Learn to Listen:

To ensure smooth communication, listening to parents' thoughts is the first step. During the communication process, it is important to understand the specific needs of parents. Different parents have different needs: they hope their children can showcase their talents; Hope the child can relax both physically and mentally; I hope my child can attend a professional college; Hope the child can earn extra points in the exam; Helping children plan for the future; I hope the child can show their personality.

After knowing the needs of parents, you can chat with them in a targeted manner, quickly narrow the distance between you and your parents, and enhance their trust in you.

Learn to say:

When discussing a child's situation with parents, it is important to first acknowledge the child's strengths and then point out any shortcomings. This will make it easier for parents to accept the child's shortcomings in the future. If the teacher starts talking about the child's shortcomings, it will make parents feel that the teacher is only focusing on the child's shortcomings, which will make them unhappy.

Talking about a child's strengths will also let the child know that the teacher praised them and informed their parents, and the child will also like the teacher more and have a good impression of the teacher.

Learn to think from the perspective of parents and understand why they send their children to our institution. Because parents cannot better obtain the information they want from their own perspective, it is easy to lead to communication failure. In communication engineering, what are the true thoughts behind parents saying these words? We can identify their needs from this communication and provide parents with an appropriate response.

Some communication tips:

1. Effective listening, learning to identify key points from communication with parents;

2. Learn to ask questions and solve your own doubts through questioning;

3. Sincere communication, allowing parents to feel the teacher's care for their children;

4. Be cautious and avoid discussing privacy related issues;

5. Different objects, different communication methods, grading parents and using different communication methods;

6. Guiding dialogue, guiding parents to think, rather than parents leading the conversation;

7. Emotional stability, good emotional expression can make parents feel sincere;

8. Understand others, understand parents, and provide solutions for parents.
